What skin care products actually deliver what they promise for the 40+ range?

Have normal skin %26amp; was wondering before I outlay a small fortune if anyone has a tried %26amp; tested brand that they would recommend cause they use it %26amp; have seen a huge difference in the condition of their skin or is it a waste of money %26amp; time altogether using anything? Does expensive necessarily mean a better product %26amp; if so which ones?

Crème de la Mer's Miracle Broth ™ is suspended within its extraordinary formula. To activate the broth and release its key ingredients, warm a small amount between your fingertips. As you pat onto clean, dry skin, you will instantly feel the soothing effects of the broth. Smooth over your face, neck, even under the fragile eye area. Apply day and night – for a lifetime.

Find it at Isetan %26amp;%26amp; any other cosmetics counters at the stores :]

Products here in Australia might be different to those in the US, but my nephews and nieces use Johnson %26amp; Johnson Clean 'n' Clear, both the foaming face wash and the bath bar, if you have that it is HIGHLY recommended.

As for foods ~ drink lots of fresh water, about eight to ten glasses a day. This will help your body expel toxins and keep your skin smooth and soft.

Make sure your diet contains plenty of FRESH fruit and vegetables, these are nature's way of fighting all sorts of diseases and conditions, including acne.

Try to get into the fresh air and go for a brisk walk once or twice a day, this is very helpful to keep the body's healing processes working and clear up scarring etc. It will also help your hair and eyes look clean and bright, making any acne less noticeable.

Avoid any exrtremes such as harsh cleansing routines or over exposure to the sun, because at 14 your skin is still growing and harsh measures can cause long term damage.

And, is your acne does persist, you can get great treatments from the doc ~ but they usually only work for acne caused by medical problems, so try the other stuff first.

Good luck and best wishes :-)
Reply:use proactive, its the best acne treatment out there..hands down
Reply:I recommed this all the time to people who ask this question on here.. but my sis has really bad acne on her chin and she got the Acne Free at walmart for 20 dollars and it helped ALOT%26gt; but if your only 14 you prob don't have the money but i use rubbing alcohol on my face at night.. it seems to keep it pretty clear and its under 1 dollar at the store!
Reply:Water, Water, Water. It takes toxics out of skin and body. You should notice within a couple of months about two.
Reply:first thing: never ever mash

i used solodyn or something like that

you take it by mouth

its supper expensive, but it works

and if you have insurance, you can get it for like nothing

good luck
Reply:i think that you should make your own mask and see how it works you can make it with natural stuff like honey and bananas and apples all mashed up i got that from Americas next top model and that how there face gets so clear and if you eat a lot of grease you should stop like fast food and fried because that is what gives you that.
Reply:I don't use any of that stuff(Clearisol, Pro Active, etc.) It honestly would depend on what type of skin she has. I'm very fair skinned and I use Nieva (blue bottle) each time after I wash my face. It's not a greasy formula and it dries fast. The best thing to do in my opinion, it wash the face with warm water with washcloth. Eat foods that have a high content of vitamin A such as carrots. Vitamin A helps a great deal with the skin. Best of luck!
Reply:Drink lots of water, and it's your lucky day because I have the skin care answer. =)

Glytone. Best. Stuff. Ever.

It cleared my skin in a week, and now, 4 months later, I still have crystal clear skin! It's not cheap, but it's worth it, and it works. There is obviously no cheap over-the-counter skin product or everyone would have clear skin. This is formulated with glycolic acid, and it will transform your skin to brand new. It's amazing, I suspect it's a celebrity secret.

You can buy it online, at a dermatologist's office who carries the line, or at a cosmedical spa. I found it through yahoo local by typing in glytone.

ps- the first week will be irritating (some burning and stinging) while your skin builds a tolerance for glycolic acid, but it's worth it.

I broke out at age 10. At 24 I went through accutane, which kept me clear for three years, and then broke out again. Glytone not only cleared my skin, but it changed it. It works. It's your face and it's worth it!! Also, treat yourself to a deep cleaning facial at a spa that uses glycolic products.

I wish so badly that I knew about this product in high school. Actually, that was over 10 years ago and it didn't exist!! But I am very thankful for it now. I really hope it works for you!
Reply:i really like acne free which is the off brand of proactive basically does the same thing [:
Reply:drink LOTS of water( that doe NOT include coke or fanta or those things) ( mineral water is okay) ( drink tap water. it's the best) sleep between 10:00pm and 11:15pm an don't wear that much makeup.
Reply:It's a myth that what you eat affects acne. so don't worry about that. But it would be best to not eat too much oily foods since this is what your dealing with. Stuff like pro-active, clean and clear, everything over the counter will only work if you have like 3 zits on your face. If you want clear skin, go to a dermatologist and see what they recommend. Dermatologists are genius. I used to have the worst acne ever. seriously, it was probably way worse than you, but my mom finally talked me into going to the dermatologist, I don't have acne anymore.

What is a low-cost, but ultra-effective line of skin care products for men?

Preferably products that are known for anti-aging, wrinkle-minimizing benefits? I am a big Origins fan, but going broke dropping $100 every time I shop there! A little goes a long way with their stuff, but is there other product lines out that equally beneficial that is less expensive? I have fair, combination-type skin, some signs of pre-marture agins present, in my late 20s.

Hi

everyone's skin is different and if you find something natural or some remedy/treatment that works for you then use it, whatever works for the individual.. xxxxx
Reply:I like it and find it true to a point, but I disagree partially. I think you should still wash your face with an acne treatment product, because no matter what you eat or how much water you eat, your skin will still get oily and your pores will get clogged up.

Where do i advertise free for my herbal beauty hair care & skin care products to market & get orders globally?

I have fantastic range of purely herbal products, with very good results. Need to market to people who believe in nature and appreciate the same. But I am still small and cant pay large sums to advertise. Are there any sites which can bring in contact with people who care for natural products and understand herbs, ayurveda and aromatherapy products.

Where do i advertise free for my herbal beauty hair care %26amp; skin care products to market %26amp; get orders globally?
Probably right here is a good place to start. Also, maybe at your local "Whole Foods" store you might want to put up some ads for free. And health shows that they hold once a year in every city.
Reply:http://toronto.kijiji.ca that will put you in the Toronto area, but this site has stations all over the world, just go to the area or location that you are in get a pass word and your in. You can list your business free and do all the sites if you like. I use one site and I get results. Nothing like free. good luck on your business.

Does anyone have any advice on skin care products for young pre-teens?

I have 3 daughters, two at 9 years old, and one at almost 11. I would like to get them started taking better care of their skin, but don't know where to start.

Does anyone have any advice on skin care products for young pre-teens?
That is so good teaching your kids to take good care for themselves. First of all if you want to teach them right, teach them not to use products formulatted without animal products and formulatted without mineral oil. Mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing that you could do to your skin, (#1 is the sun), it is like rubbing car oil on your skin and exposing it to the sun. Animal products come from rendering plants what these plants do is pick all dead animals from road, meatmarkets, etc., and put them inside a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and the oil that comes to the top is what companies use to formulate their "beauty" products. I would have to recommend using Arbonne products, these products are botanically based and do not use none of animal products (they are BEAUTY WITHOUT CRUELTY) they do not use mineral oil (nor the derivates of petroleum) they are hypoallergenic, pH balanced, recommended and used by dermatologyst, well they are just great. I started using them a few months ago and I would have only wished to have known them before, they have been 25 years on the market and you can only find them through independent consultants through out the country, I live in Puerto Rico and I can tell you that the sun is #1 in aging signs so the use of these products help you to diminish the signs and have a great and healthy skin. I order the products online at: https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arb... and what is also great is that if for any reason you do not like a product you can return it and they will send you the money.....even if they are used... no other skin care company will accept that. For your girls there is a basic line called Arbonne Inteligence and they could only use the wash, toner, and moisturizer. Did you know that the first lines tend to appear at the age of 20? So if you prepare your girls to take care from now when they reach our ages they are going to look just great, so hats off to you for taking such great care of your girls......
Reply:http://www.cleopatraschoice.com/

great stuff, little spendy though - good for mom :)

i would start them out with some simple face washes like Noxzema.
Reply:I cant give any ans on products but I can advice you to eat alot of vegitables.
Reply:as they are too young u can use fruit pulp or tomato pulp to apply on the skin as it has a lot of nutrition in it. take care they have lot of water %26amp; have lot of veggies. morover wait for 3-4 years for knowing their skin better. later-on u can them to the beauty salon but not now.and an important point wash face with fresh water as many times as u can in a day.
Reply:If they have oily skin I say Johnson %26amp; Johnson Clean and Clear products if the have dry skin or combo skin I say Aveeno skin care products. Lots of water, fruits (especially those packed with fiber grapes, apples, cherries, etc.), veggies. Stay away from granulated sugar, carbonated drinks (they also cause cellulite), and make sure they get at least 8 hours sleep a night.
Reply:Skin doesn't begin to age until you reach 25 years old, so skin care for teens is really not a major necessity. Start them off with good hygiene, a good all around cleansing routine, like a cleanser with magnesium in it (Dior makes a great one -- it's a pink gel and lasts forever) because magnesium will equalize, if you will, your skin, make it normal instead of oily or dry.

A good mud mask as they hit their teen years once a week will help to keep blemishes at bay. Also, a good -- I want to call it an apricot scrub -- to slough off dead skin cells, also once a week. More than that will actually damage the skin.

Incidentally, if you are starting to, ahem, look your age, a good scrub will also make your wrinkles look less noticeable.

Hope this helps,

Rebecca

What are some facial skin care products that don't have petroleum in them?

My skin has become extremely sensitive due to GLOBAL WARMING and I feel very determined to change my entire skin care line from Neutrogena to a more trusted brand.. what's out there.. pure coconut, carrot, olive, shea, or something a long those lines.. thanks!

What are some facial skin care products that don't have petroleum in them?
There's a range of skincare products called Miessence. They are 100% certified organic and definitely DO NOT contain petroleum. AND they are a carbon neutral company so they don't leave their carbon footprint on the world either.

They do their ordering on line and you get things delivered to you very quickly. I've had things sent to me in the States as well as Australia.

Also, if you check out the website (I've put it in the 'Source' section) there's a lot on other environmental information there.

Hope this helps,

What LINE of Skin Care products should I use?

I want a cleanser, toner, exfolliant and moisturiser and eye cream. I want all the products from the same line, Im tired of using a mix of this and that. I just turned 30, and my skin is combination oily and dry. What is BOTH affordabe and good???

What LINE of Skin Care products should I use?
I used to work for Lancome, which admiteddly expensive. If you can afford it my 1st choice would be Primordiale (£32 a jar - 50ml). Its got anti oxidants in to prevent daily pollution and sun damage. Also SPF 15. If your budget is smaller heres a secret - L'oreal are owned by Lancome and a lot of their products are just as good as Lancome. You can get a full range of products (your full regime) for about £30/40 for everything!.

If your skin is combination you can get away with using any type of moisteriser. Look out for one with any SPF in (at least factor 15)as, now you are in your 30s you really need to start protecting your face from sun damage, it will be too late at 50!

Good luck

Are there any good skin care products for men?

Why should women get to have all the fun? I am 31 and I believe at the age where I need to perhaps not take my skin for granted. So I wanted to try any good products that may be available for men. Keep in mind I have never ever done products before except for after shave lotion perhaps.

I know Nivea and Gillette have some mosturizers for men but thats about all I know of.

Are there any good skin care products for men?
Basically you want to do 3 things as a man to keep your skin in peak condition. 1st is exfoliate the dead skin and remove bacteria with a exfoliating lotion massaged in with your hands for about 60 seconds. 2nd thing is a cleansing lotion to clean the skin of its impurities and revitalise it, you can use a non alcaholic one as alcahol ages the skin. Finally you want to moisturise the skin with a good Ph balanced cream that has ingredients close to nature as possible.

In conjunction with shaving with a good quality shaving gel and razor every day or other day this is really all you need. Im assuming you take hot baths or showers daily as the steam helps unclog pours and removes blackheads.

You should also perform some cardio vascular excercise 3-5 times a week for an hour to help with circulation and general health of your skin. A clean diet and plenty of water doesnt hurt either.
Reply:Well, I'm not a man (neither of us) so I had to research.

My conclusion?

Yes, there are good skin care products for men.
Reply:If you are looking for moisturizing products, try Cetophil.

I have dry skin and their products work great. Bar cleansers, lotions, and creams.

Reply:Of course there are good skin care products for men! Cudos to you for wanting to take care of your appearance.

Different skin care types have different needs so you need to identify what treatments would best fit your lifestyle and skin care needs.

The first and foremost best treatment for all skin care needs, whether man or woman, is sunscreen each and every day. It is the sun that creates most of the skin damage that over the years results in wrinkles and age spots among a host of other unsightly skin conditions.

Men have an advantage in the skin care department because they shave. That is really an wonderful way to exfoliate the skin to get rid of all the dead skin cells. It makes your skin look brighter and healthier.

But now you need to take the next step... a scrub, a toner and... yes, you do need a moisturizer!! I listed a source that has a variety of good recommendations for skin care products specifically formulated for men. (Simple yet effective!)

Once you establish a simple routine for yourself , you will be amazed at how much better your appearance will be. (Exercise, drinking LOTS of water and diet all contribute a bit as well!)

Good Luck!

It is specifically formulated to reduce the affects of sun damage, decrease fine lines and wrinkles, while it works to combat the visual signs of aging. The system consists of botanically based products that contain natural collagens (hyaluronic acid), giving your skin a natural lift and others to deeply condition and hydrate your skin. They're all pure, safe, beneficial, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, and formulated without alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, or mineral oil. They're unlike any others on the market as they are formulated in Switerland and made with all 9 KEY anti-aging elements (KOJIC ACID, NANOSPHERES, COPPER, VITAMIN C, ALPHA %26amp; BETA HYDROXY ACIDS, PEPTIDES, BIO-HYDRIA, ELHIBIN %26amp; STIMUTEX, and ALPHA LIPOIC ACID), giving you maximum benefit.

Their products are also formulated with nanosphere technology which makes them beneficial for all skin types and adjusts to your skins specific needs by applying more moisture in dry areas and less is oily areas. Research shows that 6 months continued use of this system will give a 68% decrease in DEEP density lines and wrinkles; however I started to notice results within a week or two.

Arbonne even has products for your entire body including a hydrating body wash, body serum, hydrating body lotion, and essential fatty acid dietary supplement, a concentrated blend of flaxseed oil, CoQ10 and beneficial elements to support younger-looking skin and good health ... from the inside, out ... and formulated in a vegetarian capsule. It's made of Flaxseed oil, vitamins A, C, E, Coenzyme Q10, alpha lipoic acid. I love the NutriMinC Re9 Anti-Aging Body Serum and Hydrating Body Lotion.

The products come in pre measured pumps so there is no waste. I love this because I don't like measuring my products. It's hard to try and determine how much eye crème or moisturizer is most beneficial. This way, just 1 pump is all you need! I highly recommend trying a sample. Send me an email.
Reply:I would think that effective "high-end products" companies wouldn't be giving out samples.

Has anyone tried DAYENNE Skin care products?

I have seen these products advertised through the ASG and am thinking of placing an order. Has anybody tried them and if so what were the results? Any information would be very welcome from fellow skin sufferers. Ta. xxx

Has anyone tried DAYENNE Skin care products?
On smartskincare.com you can find this INDEPENDENT Skin Care Review of Dayenne acne kit

by Jeanette, NAIROBI Kenya:

Rating:Good

Benefits:Clears acne and acne scars naturally.

Drawbacks:Does not have suncreen in their day cream.

Details:The Dayenne kit products which contains cleanser, toner, night and day cream plus the masque and the scrub have been of great help to my skin because the acne break out stopped except for one or two pimples towards my periods. The acne scars have started to fade away slowly over the last foru months that I have been using it. The results are there though one has to be a bit patient. The only disadvantage is that the day cream does not have a sun screen and therefore, one's skin is left unprotected from the sun.

So far I am satisfied with their products though one must be patient.

Their staff is also very helpful if you need information about their products.

Conclusions: I think the product is good and it is also natural thus making it safe to use.
Reply:Afraid i havent as i have dry skin - i notice you have asked this question 3 times though!!

What are the best skin care products for over 40?

I have been hearing lots of good things about Olay Regenerist. That line has alot of products, so I was wondering what to use to cleanse and moisturize (daily). Have you tried the Regenerist line ? What do you recommend? Do you like/don't like it?. (I also have sensitive skin.)

Thanks!

Reply:Before you purchase a bunch of different products, why don't you invest in a good dermatologist and let them tell you what is best for you and your skin type. They are the experts and by the time you spend the money buying all the different products you could have paid for the dermatologist visit. I have been seeing the same dermatologist for over 20 years and it is well worth the money and I have a feeling she has saved me alot of money over this time period. Since you have sensitive skin I would really think about this.
Reply:I use Nutriumc re9 hydrating wash. Its made of all natural products that wont harm your skin An emollient, cream-based and pH-correct gel cleanser that thoroughly cleans, without stripping or drying. Renews skin surface while key RE9 elements target and deliver protection. This stuff is awsome and here is where I get my stuff. If you ask you can get the ingredients.http://myladybeau.myarbonne.com

I have used the regenerist line but it didn't work for me though. I won't use anything else now
Reply:Hello,

I've tried many and I am trying StriVectom-SD amd it seems tp to be working well. I also tried Hydroderm and did not like it. It is to strong for my skin. I like to get samples first to see if i like the feel.

Should I try TESS skin care products?

I use Proactiv right now but I don't see much improvement after using it for several months. I wash my face once a day everyday. I also use the toner. The moisturizer makes my face too oily and my skin isn't dry. I think the TESS products look great and I'm considering trying those.

I don't have that much acne. Just a few pimples on my forehead and like a few on my cheeks. My biggest problem is I like to pick at my pimples but I'm willing to stop.

Should I try TESS?

Are Philosophy skin care products good and worth it?

I saw on different websites and also from people that philosophy products for face ( cleansers, protective creams, etc) are really really good. I have sensitive skin a little oily and prone to breakouts.. should I try philosophy or something else? thanks!

Are Philosophy skin care products good and worth it?
I work at Nordstrom in the cosmetics department and I have tried MANY different face products. Philosophy is the only one that I purchased more than once. I use their face wash and moisturizer as well as their face mask/peel. I love it. I have oily/sensitive skin and this makes it look clear, healthy and matte. I say try it out!
Reply:Try it for yourself and forget what people say..For years people kept telling me how great Biotherm was and when I used it for a month..it made my face rougher and the moisturizer for dry skin was terrible..

Ultimately, only your own skin can be the judge.

Best High-end skin care products?

What is the best high-end skin care line for women over 30 who suffer from adult acne, but not necessarily oily skin???

Best High-end skin care products?
I really like the Philosophy line. Even though they do have a product for acne, I've found that just using the basics in their skincare line keeps my skin smooth and clear. They have some really good products that seem to work well with all skin types.
Reply:the best thing I did was to stop wearing foundation. I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer instead. Love it! It covers just as good as a foundation, but is much lighter and lets my skin "breathe" Other than that, I would not really care too much about high end skin care products- I would be religous about getting facials monthly, along with microdermabrasion. I picked up a facial cleanser that the esthetitian (spelling?) recommended for me. My skin is almost completely clear now. BTW- I will be 33 in June.

What are the best skin care products for sensitive skin?

I have sensitive skin, so some of the acne remedies on sale today are too harsh. Any recommendations for a gentle products that actually work?

Arbonne! If you dont like it you can get your money back!!
Reply:Neutrogena face wipes and moisturiser for sensitive skin. It is great for me!

Mind you Iuckily I am rarely bothered with spots.
Reply:Cetaphil is great for sensitive skin.
Reply:I suffer from the same skin problem - I use Simple pure soap and Simple Light Hydrating Moisturiser. They are non-perfumed and non-coloured - ideal for sensitive skin. These products dont feel too heavy on your skin and dont cost much money either.
Reply:I use Eucerin Moisturizer.

It moisturizes the skin, is non-greasy, and evens out skin tone.

It also doesn't irritate skin.
Reply:agreed, cetyphil is the best depending on the severity of the sensitivity.
Reply:hi there i have extremely sensitive skin and i have to be really careful so i use dermalogica or virgin v. they are both really good slightly more expensive but they are worth it.
Reply:Neutrogena, Dermologica, Some clean and clear products for acne, Pro-Activ and Cetaphil.

Good Luck =]

Otherwise go to the pharmacy
Reply:if you want something form a drugstore buy clean and clear control cleanser with the clean and clear advantage oil-free moisturizer. use only at night and apply the moisturizer in the morning. dont use bad makeup! an awesome powder is physicians formula mineral loose powder. it helps sensitive and acne prone skin. another thing you can do is go with all natural cleansers. try zyporex, its all natural and just for acne. it gives you a really clean feeling. natural can be the best thing because it doesnt contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your face rather than help.
Reply:sensetive skin and acne verry much relatrd to sesetive gut one of the causes stress and sugers altough food does not cause acne but certain ones that your body not tollerating can agrivates it like wheat sugers deeply fried food as the oil get over heated it gives you silent inflamation from its toxin you realy need to look into your life style eat more vegetables and drink 2lt of water a day dont waste your money have a skin consultation if you are in london body care multi therapy clinic to help you tell 02072624443
Reply:nivea, i also have sensitive skin and i use nivea for men and it's great, Simple is a good product too! hope that helps
Reply:If you have sensitive skin, do not use facial washes or soap; instead use a light, hypoallergenic cleansing lotion. Use a moisturizer to strengthen your skin and provide a barrier against irritants. Make sure you use an non perfumed moisturizer, which will not irritate your skin.check out http://tipsfromruby-skincare.blogspot.co...
Reply:With sensitive skin you want to stay away from any product that has coloring, fragrances and chemical preservative. Lots of products have coloring and fragrances, which are harmful to your skin.

If you stick with that criteria, you'll get great results!

Face/Skin care products that really work?

I'm 46, need a little boost to fine line, sun damaged "starting to look old " skin. I've tried so many products, and spent so much money. Is there really anything out there that will make a difference in skin texture and appearence????

Face/Skin care products that really work?
Oil of Olay products and drink LOTS of water. I'm 40 yrs. old and have always had dry skin. I started using Oil of Olay products and that helped but what really made the difference for me was when I started drinking, literally, 1 gallon of water per day. Sometimes it's hard to do but if I want my skin to keep looking and feeling nice I do it.

So many skin care products, Where do I begin?

My skin is looking rather "bad", im young and want to start getting into using skincare products. there are so many things and styles of that thing out there. Is there a website where you can enter whats wrong with your skin and the website will suggest what products to use? Something that is not a biased website Thanks, Mike

PS I posted this message before, instead of "bad" i used the s word with ** around the letters. Someone reported me to Yahoo. Is that ****** up or what?

So many skin care products, Where do I begin?
Go to http://skinnaturals.garnier.ca/en/ . I love GARNIER, everytime I use one of their products on my face my blemishes and blackheads ext disapear, I wouldn't recomend anything else.
Reply:i advise you to avoid those chemical products take shower everyday and use herbs
Reply:I think you should go to your doctor (if it's to do with acne or whatever). I wonder why you were censored, when I've seen much worse written all over the site?
Reply:avoid
Reply:Get plenty of aerobic execise (i.e that makes your heart rate rise and your skin sweat).

Eat plenty of good wholesome food, especially veg and fruit.

Take a good vitamin supplement with adequate amounts of vitamins A, B, C, D and E and zinc.

Use a natural, mildly anti-bacterial soap or face cleanser containing witchazel or tea-tree oil.

I think Weleda might have something of that kind in their product range.

Other than that, it's you hormones!

Philosophy Skin Care products safe for acne prone skin?

Hey, I was just wondering if philosophy's products are okay for acne prone skin. I'm deciding on whether or not I should use 'The Supernatural' Thanks!

Philosophy Skin Care products safe for acne prone skin?
philosophy skincare rocks, i love the make-up optional kit; the supernatural make-up sucks on so many levels, the shades look fake. try bare minerals make-up instead, it looks %26amp; feels natural, works on all skin types, and helps skin heal. try it out for yourself at any sephora, ulta, macy's, or nordstrom store, to see, how you like it, before making a decision.
Reply:Em.....i would say that thats ok. It atually works. I have the same problem, and to this day my skin is as clear as it ever will be!!! Trust me, and use it...

please pick me as best answer...im am competing, and i really need the points...ps im not trying to sound needy but i really need 'em..

thxs and good luck!!
Reply:I really didn't like philosophy for my skin, it didn't seem to help at all with my break outs. My favorite thing I have used so far is Clinique. Just go to the counter and they will help you pick which products are perfect for your skin type
Reply:If you are looking for an amazing acne product, take a look at Kara Vita's Clearly IT. This products works better than Proactive and Accutane.

Good skin care products...?

for sensitive skin? I could really use some good products for my face. I have mild acne, but whenever I use a lot of products it causes my face to redden, dry up, and get really itchy. Any products you'd recommend that don't do that? Any help would be great! :D

Skin care products that work well for...?

I've been having problems with acne and now that my problems with breaking out are starting to fade my skin is uneven and has dark spots were I used to have acne are there any products that can help keep my skin clear and help me with my problem with the spots

Skin care products that work well for...?
There are 2 good products for evening out skin tone. First of all, ALWAYS wear sunscreen since the sun makes the red spots darker.

The two products are Bye Bye Blemish Anti Acne Serum (probably online only) and Neutrogena Acne Mark Fading Peel (Target, Wal-Mart, etc.)
Reply:I bought Neutrogena Acne Mark Fading Peel today. I just used it for the first time tonight but I've heard good things. It costs about $12 at cvs. Other people say cocoa butter works, vitamin e oil, mederma, neutrogena visibly even, and bio oil. Its all about what you want to try. Good luck!
Reply:i will suggest you to use i new product name oslee, this is a good product that is new in USA, it calls sleeping masks, it has 5 different species: Whitening sleeping mask, Oil Controlling Sleeping Mask, Dark Circle Reducing Sleeping Mask, Pore-Refining Sleeping Mask and Clear Spa Sleeping Mask Advanced Formula. You can put some of the sleeping masks on your face before you sleep and then wash it the next day. i used it and it really improve my skin problems like: acne and black head. The sleeping masks are a very fabulous product that can save a lot of time for women because you just use your sleeping time to take care your skin that why i share with all of you but the only way i can buy them are on ebay and also the are under $10 so they are very cheap, hopefully you will try them and solve your skin problems

Looking for skin care products for oily skin, preferably with natural ingredients.?

I started a similar topic, but I feel I didn't phrase my question in the best way. I'm a vegetarian primarily, with very oily skin, and I've been breaking out lately. Could anybody recommend me a system of products with preferably natural ingredients that would help my cause? I've tried apple cider vinegar, and that doesn't work too well. What about witch hazel and aloe vera? I'm looking for products that do the following;

.Cleanse

.Tone/dry the skin (to get rid of blemishes)

.Moisturize

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Which skin care products are better? Darphin or La Mer?

I want to buy a very good skin care line. Which one is more expensive, and which one is more effective?

I'm 20, I have mostly dry skin but also combination skin. I also break out now since I've stopped taking the pill.

Have you tried either of these? Or what have you heard?

Thanks!

Well I think La Mer is the better known brand, also it is more expensive but they do work. My mother has some Creme de la Mer products and they are fantastic although pricey but well worth it. Check out neimanmarcus.com for a selection of both brands and that way you can decide which one suits your needs.

Hope I helped

Are MD Skin care Products Good?
Yes, they do seem to be. Try to find as many reviews as possible before starting or trying anything new.
Reply:If you mean are they effective, yes. They contain the active ingredients needed. But so do many others. (Salycilic Acid and Benzoyl peroxide)

the secret is to use them and be consistant. If the Primary lesion has already formed ( a lesion so small that you can't even see it), you have to have faith and contiinue to use it until all lesions have terminated (which sometimes means that it gets worse before it gets better).

Reply:MD Skincare products are superior quality! I've been using their face peel and Hydra-Pure Oil-Free Moisture for about 3 months and I am very happy. My dermatologist recommended the oil-free moisturizer, which is light and doesn't cause any breakouts. My skin is well-moisturized, yet clear with a great glow. If you're breaking out, try the oil-free moisturizer too, as well as the MD Skincare All-Over Blemish Solution.

MD Skincare is well-worth the money you pay for it! Their sunscreens are excellent too!

I dicovered this site - www.banler.com, they carry all the products I love, but most of all I love their prices!!!
Reply:MD Skincare products are really exceptional, especially the sun care products. I live in super hot Miami, and in the summer, as beautiful as it is, the sun beats down on you.

After trying so many different sun care products, I found MD Skincare Powerful Sun Protection. Not only does it do a great job of protecting you against the sun, it also does a great job of healing the damages from the sun.

Using DIFFERENT SKIN CARE PRODUCTS?

ok, what do you think about this,

I want to lighten my skin and moisturize it as well, so i use this body lotion that helps. I got very visible stretchmarks on my tummy so I use this strectmarks reducing cream as well. Then I got a scar from a C-section and so I use this scar removing product also. Then it is nessesary to use lotion w/ SPF everyday.

Too many skin problems, too many products.

Using that different product altogether, don't you think it could help me gain the perfect and protected skin I desire?and I'm willing to wait for just about a year only since I was just 18 yrs old.

Using DIFFERENT SKIN CARE PRODUCTS?
No lotion gets rid of stretch marks, only time can do that, so you can bin that one. No lotion will remove a scar, so bin that one. Very frew products do anything to lighten skin...bin that too. You only need a SPF cream on your face, so keep that one. If you are sun bathing a SPF lotion is not enough, you need proper sunscreen.

So just buy a basic body lotion and a separate face lotion, Olay is good but there are many other brands out there;

Skin care products?

I was just wondering what is really good for normal fair young skin in the facial skin care range like Niva Dove Nutragina etc. One with a cleanser exfoliate and toner. Which can be bought in shops. Ive tryed lots but i can't seem to find one right for my skin they either really dry it out or dont do anything lol.

Skin care products?
you can try Proactiv
Reply:personally I really like Artistry products. They actually just came out with a new line called Artistry Essentials that sounds like what you are looking for. They have a hydrating system that is awesome. The cleanser has some special exfoliation technology so it does both and you also get toner and a moisturiser. This stuff will make your skin look and feel a million times better I promise. I get compliments all the time now that I use it. If you aren't happy with any of their products for any reason you have up to 6 months to get a full refund which I think is awesome. You can't buy their products in stores but I can give you the direct link so you can read about the system and even buy it if it sounds like what you are looking for

It's great for any age. I promise this will not dry it out it will make is so soft and look really good. Hope this helped :)

Nivea for men skin care products?

I like to use the nivea shaving gel and aftershave balm for sensitive skin when I am shaving because it soothes and calms my skin brilliantly even though my skin is classed as normal( I think anyway), although my necks tends to become a bit red after shaving. To be honest I have never given much thought to skin type until christmas, as I got a mositurizing face wash from nivea (normal to dry skin) and I am not sure if I should use it.

Would chopping and changing between products geared for different skin types create problems for my skin? Should I switch the shaving products I use to the normal skin criteria or just go with what I am comfortable with?

Nivea for men skin care products?
I use them. The shaving cream I find is the best for my sensitive skin. I also use the facial cleanser for sensitive skin. Its expensive but for me worth every penny.
Reply:Well, it could be because of the way your shaving. And if not, then no. I don't think changing products would cause problems for your skin. Unless your skin is really sensitive.

Where can I learn how to make my own skin care products ?

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHICH COMPANY OR INSTITUTION THAT PROVIDES FOR THE COURSE ON LEARNING HOW TO MAKE MY OWN SKIN CARE PRODUCT

Where can I learn how to make my own skin care products ?
Sometimes community colleges or beauty schools- (you can do a quick search for any that might be local) or you could approach a natural skin care company in your area and ask if they run any workshops or maybe offer to be an intern for a short period of time.

You can also practice by experimenting with making a variety of skin care recipes. Here's some: http://www.skincareresourcecenter.com/na... There are simply a gazillion recipes to try.

If you are thinking of a more traditional skin care product then maybe you could contact DermaDoctor or Paula Begoun- each of whom have a website and their own line of skin care products. They might give you some tips on how to get started.

How much would you charge to take still pictures of skin care products for website? 30 products,3 shots each?

I need to know how much it would be for someone to take photos of my skin care line and post them online, it is so the public sees a picture of the product they can buy. I would appreciate your help.

How much would you charge to take still pictures of skin care products for website? 30 products,3 shots each?
This question all depends on the photographer, and the quality that you are willing to spend to get (let's face it, quality costs some money).

I'd probably charge $1500 and that would include all the photos, with post-processing/editing so that they look their best, and you would get all the images as 8x10 print quality, with rights to use the images for promotional websites and print info.
Reply:I charge by the day, plus usage.

$500 for the shoot plus expenses

$40 per image used per month

$60 per image used per quarter

$100 per image used per year.

All other rights reserved.
Reply:i'd charge a $800 for my time and $200 dollars for editing, etc. and $150 for every year these use them or $250 to buy the rights.

How can I sell my handmade skin care products online.?

I'm into making my own skin care product with 100% natural stuff like oils and water. Is there any restrictions if I want to sell these product online?

How can I sell my handmade skin care products online.?

Great website to get ideas.

Build a website!!!

Good Luck

Enjoy 2007
Reply:you could easily build a website, but to actually SELL online you may need a more expensive site than you can afford to start out with. the easiest way to start is on ebay. for only $16 per month you can get an online store and the listings get less expensive. but you would need to list 21 items a month to get the best value for your ebay fees.

i've watched a lot of homemade products fly off the pages of ebay. it may sound basic, but it's really amazing how many ppl make a great little (or big) store on ebay.

good luck.
Reply:Hello..I can help you with the distribution and also I can help you creat an online store where you can sell your product..If you are interested you can contact me on tundexman@yahoo.com

What company makes the best all around skin care products for acne-prone skin, regardless of price.?

I am 21 searching for the best skin-care product for my acne-prone skin. I have tried many prescription drugs for my skin, and over the counter treatments, none of them seemed to please me. I am looking for something that will deliver dramatic results, and even erase the scars that my acne has left behind. I have tried just about all of the prescription methods except acutan. The over the counter methods include Neutragena on-the-spot treatment, clearsil, nothing too fancy.

I hear good things about PRO-ACTIVE. Walmart sells a product that is comparable to the pro-active. My sister in law swears by DERMOLOGICA. She owns a beauty salon and sells it there but i don't know where else to buy it.
Reply:proactive p-diddy been using it for 5 yrs
Reply:I was prescribed Differn for use at night and Benzaclin in the morning I have not been using them that long (1 month) I can alread see a difference. My brother has been using it for about 4 years. Now, he is just using it to heal scars.
Reply:I have tried everything..Chanel works and you will never like anything else! Will clear your skin- even balckheads and keep it that way..I have very oliy skin.. just look at my profile pic and see that it works http://www.freewebs.com/lisabreedlove72/
Reply:Proactiv Solutions is a MIRACLE for acne. I'm not kidding. I tried EVERYTHING else and nothing worked. Proactiv is a miracle for me. BTW, you can get acne scars significantly reduced with laser treatment. Go see a plastic surgeon for that. Fraxil laser is the latest...

Has anyone ever used Dermalogica skin care products?? Was wondering if they were worth the money??

I'm trying to research the best skin care because I have sensitive skin and I've read good things about this product. thanks

Has anyone ever used Dermalogica skin care products?? Was wondering if they were worth the money??
I love Dermalogica products. They have a fantastic sensitive skin line. You can contact them directly, or a spa in your area that carries them; they love to give out samples to hook their clients. Try the barrier repair serum; it's a great light-weight moisturizer for hot days.
Reply:DONT BUY IT! I did and it made my skin dry and itchy after about a month. I work in a spa and all i hear is bad things about the product.
Reply:they work sometimes--the expensive ones don't really work nor do the cheap ones. they make your skin itchy. I wonder if proactive's good...?
Reply:Well usually Dermalogica skin care products are quite strong and some people have to keep using it even if they have heal completely (personal opinion and from what I see)

However there is another sensitive skin care products you can consider to take a look. Miho bio foam, skin lotion and Facial Pack Mask for sensitive or acne prone skin or Miho Beauty Pack Mask which can be used for any skin type.

This might be new to you and do check out the link below. I have personally use this product for over 18 yrs and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Product available only online and not sold in any drug or departmental store.

Hope this helps.

Are there any NEW and EASY skin care products out there for men?

I know there were answers out there that touched on the topic but most of them were from a year ago. I am Latino (with tan skin) so although my skin looks pretty decent, I haven't really been on any consistent skin care routine, and everyone talks about taking good care of your skin (even guys).

Ok, here are some face stats and needs:

An EASY and effective skin care regiment that is not oily and heavy.

I tend to break out, not heavily, but a pimple or a few small ones every once in awhile. From that I end up having a little discoloration.

I have combination skin, but mostly on the oily side. I also work in a major city so, lots of wear and tear (smog).

I would LOVE to carry some sort of Stri-Dex typle pads for mid day touch ups, but something with a moisturizer in it maybe?

Also I tend to use facial scrubs and masks probably once every other week.

I am on a budget, but open to pricing if the product line is effective.

most men aren't beauty experts...

you'll have more luck asking this in the Beauty section...
Reply:Are you sure your a bloke?

Skin care......last time i checked, women were after men, not girlie men.
Reply:The best skin care you can get is olea vera gel.

Not expensive and very good for all your body.

Reply:Rub gel from an Aloe plant leaf on your face monring and night. It has worked wonders for me. Do research and you will find it has MANY benefits, and it's natural so you don't have to worry about all those weird chemicals mixed in.
Reply:I use the Miracle Set (combination to oily) by Mary Kay. The set will give you younger looking skin, fewer lines, improved firmness, and even skin tone. It's very gentle and will not irritate your face. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/...

Be sure to finish your daily skin care routine with a foundation to protect against the elements, and to help your skin look smooth and blemish-free. You can also use a concealer underneath your foundation. Mary Kay's foundations come in 20 different shades and provide stay-true, stay-put color, and controls excess oil for up to eight hours! http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/color/fou...

You can also throw in the Blemish Control Toner 3, which is an acne medication that leaves your skin free of excess oil. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/...

The last thing is the Acne Treatment Gel. It will dry and clear blemishes, and allows skin to heal without irritation.

http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/...

Just be sure to always properly moisturize, even while breaking out. If you don't, your skin will start to produce extra oils to compensate and you'll just break out more.

You can start with what's written above, but I also strongly recommend TimeWise® Even Complexion Essence. It really evens out your natural tone and reverses skin discoloration.

Black/Hispanic Beauty Question: Good facial skin care products?

I'm a mixed black and hispanic teen, and it's been hard trying to find good skin products. My skin is not that Beyonce complexion, yet it's a similar color, it's always dry becuase I'm constantly washing my face. I doin't even really get pimples but blackheads which are horrible, and make my face always seem so dirty.

Basically I'm wondering if anyone knows a skincare regime that'll get rid of black heads, minimize pores, mosterize my skin, and even my skintone from all those dam acne scars!

I've already heard of Proactive, I have it.

Black/Hispanic Beauty Question: Good facial skin care products?
wash your face less often. this works for me. when i washed my face once a day my face was really dry and i broke out all the time. i rarely wash my face, especially not with soap alone. when i do, i use the neutrogena scrub that was mentioned above. neutrogena makes great products. good luck to you!
Reply:proactive is the best
Reply:what i use and recomend is a facial scrub (neutrogena) and use toner afterwards. you only have to do it once a day. its great! your skin will feel silky soft! usually about 1 week or 2.
Reply:I'm black and when I was a teenager, I constantly got pimples and from those pimples I got plenty of scars. I tried everything and nothing worked. But when I hit 21 they just stopped coming. I used a bleaching cream to get rid of the scars and now my face is clear. So maybe you just have to wait it out. It could be a phase.
Reply:If your skin is dry dont use proactiv, and never ever use bar soap on the face, it makes skin condition worse. I tell my clients that a regular skin care regimen should consist of an oil-free cleanser, milky or gel base, a facial scrub/exfoliant to use once a week, not st ives peach scrub its horrible and damaging, try neutrogena's microdermabrasion system its great. Also you want an oil free moisturizer one preferrably with spf of 25 or more. Using a scrub will help reduce blackheads, otherwise they need to be extracted professionally, they are hard to get rid of at home. A good skin care line is Eminence organics, but if budget doesnt allow it try neutrogena, its the best over the counter line. Good luck!
Reply:PROACTIVE!!

I use to use all different sorts of over the counter face wash/face creams, etc. but ever since I used proactive i will never buy anything else. It may be a bit expensive, but when you see the results it's worth the money.
Reply:Skin is skin ,regardless of what color it is.Don't be silly.
Reply:For blackheads and pore minimizing I use Biore products. try their strips for blackheads and for minimizing pores try their pore minimizing facial cleanser. Always take ur makeup off before u go to bed and try not to touch ur face alot cuz that can also cause blackheads. A good moisturizer is Pond's cream or skin milk. Also try putting a lil dab of petroleum jelly with the moisturizer u have now. I'm a hispanic teen too hope this helps =)
Reply:I use proactiv as well,my breakouts are down to very rare but i sitll like my face is two toned/blotchy.But proatciv has a lot of different products you could try.
Reply:Try MARIO BADESCU skin care line, you can log in to their site at mariobadescu.com and you can also fill out a questionnaire where a professional skin care adviser can help u select the best products for your skin. They are a little pricey but also fantastic ,with no chemicals.

Reply:I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
