Some good skin care products??

Okay so I have tried Proactiv, Benzaclin, and many many many other products. Nothing really seems to work! I have combination dry/oily skin...and I am so tired of battling acne and constant skin care regimens. I am just so ready for clear skin. I've been to a dermatologist and everything. Can any of you recommend any really good products or maybe something herbal?

Some good skin care products??
eat almonds and tuna, it helps the natural healthy oils in the skin. Also take vitamin e and drink lots of water. Water is so important to the skin. Most of the time it's not what we put ontop of the skin but what we put into our bodies. And if you smoke, forget it, your skin is suffering.
Reply:well for me benzaclin was the best. i dont know maybe u should go to a dermatologist Report It

Reply:Hi, I do not know what age you are. So you can go and check by yourself if this skin care product for your age - but I know that it is amazing!!

go to www.dreamlife.isagenix.com and click there on skin care. Then check - very possible you'll find some for you age.
Reply:There's this Japanese facewash called SK II...I've heard a lot about it. I've done some research and it's mad expensive. But its supposed to be really good.
Reply:stay away from shellfish, which is high in iodide and bad for your skin. i have very similar skin and nothing really seems to work for me either. benzoyl peroxide is too drying and everything else just doesn't work or is too harsh on my sensitive skin. the best advice i can give is too use a gentle moisturizing cleanser. i like dove, neutrogena extra gentle facial cleanser, and burt's bees orange cleanser. if you're a girl, try the pill. it helped clear up my skin. but it can become pricey if you don't have health insurance.

Skin Care products for Asians?

I am trying to find good skin care products for Asian women, especially anti-aging or anti-wrinkle creams, facial moisturizers and foundation that will not cause acne.

Any Asian women out there that have recommendations based on personal experience? Especially for Asian products, like those from Shiseido or other Asian companies?

Thank you!

Skin Care products for Asians?
It isn't an asian company, but Bare Minerals makes great moisturizers and amazing foundations! I am not sure if they have anti-aging or anit-wrinkle creams, but i am sure they will have something! Good luck finding the right products!

What Skin care products works best with RENOVA?

HAD BEEN USING MARY KAY PRODUCTS BUT THE MOISTERIZER BURNS MY FACE. ANY ONE TRIED RENOVA AND IF SO WHAT SKIN CARE REGIMEN DO YOU USE WITH THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT?

What Skin care products works best with RENOVA?
Renova is an exfoliant that is irritating to the skin. This is intentional. Its main ingredient is a weaker version of what is used in chemical peels.

Mary Kay products can contain mineral oils and fragrences that increase this irritation.

I suggest you look at Avon Clinical Line and Wrinkle Corrector and Clinical Deep Crease Serum, with sun protection during the day - which is critical.

You could also look at more soothing products that contain natural botanicals like the Arbonne line or a skin healer like Neutrogena Visibily Firm.
Reply:Arbonne works great with Renova. Here is a great website: http://www.perfectskinforlife.myarbonne....

(. com comes after myarbonne at the above address)

Best of luck to you!

Which brand of skin care products is better: Lancome or Juvena?

Hi there--

I received two different kinds of skin care products as Christmas gifts, and I'm not sure which I should keep and which I should return (or should I keep both?).

I received a gift set of Lancome Absolue Bx and a set of skin care products by Juvena. I don't want to open either until I decide which I like, but I can't decide which is better.I have of course heard of Lancome, but I have never heard of Juvena, so I'm hoping someone who has tried both can offer an opinion.

I'd also love to hear opinions from anyone who has tried either one so I can see what people think of them.

Thank you in advance for your time! :)

Online skin-care products?

Would you buy any skin-care products or have you ever bought skin-care products online? What would be your feedback? Please share your experience

Thank you!!

Online skin-care products?
I am a skin care consultant with arbonne their products are vegan approved and recommend their on-line site for little investment you can be your own boss. visit them at www.arbonne.com to check them out. Let me know if I can be of help.
Reply:Never online. I've heard of them through the television or online, but I never bought them online. I would rather go to the store and buy them. That way I can see for sure what I'm buying and it saves the costs for shipping too! In addition, with all the identity thefts online, I wouldn't want to reveal my credit card number online.
Reply:Yes. Nicole Miller skin care products are incredible!!!!! You can order them from www.melaleuca.com let me know if i can help
Reply:I have been thinking about some Avon products online. I don't think I would buy anything that I have never tried before. I am hesitant about buying new products form the store..they are so damn expensive, and you can't return them if they suck.

Best skin care products?

I'm looking to find some new skin care products to use.

I have pale/fair skin, no acne ( I do get an occasional pimple though..) and normal skin (not dry not oily) I would like to find something to even out my skin tone and maybe something that will make my skin a little darker, since its so pale right now..

Thanks!

Best skin care products?
getting the occasional pimple is part of being female as it is your hormones fluctuating. you sound like you have really good normal skin. here are my suggestions:

my preferences of face products are: kiehls. it is well formulated, reasonably priced and it does what it says. they have a great line of products that will suit all skin types. another great brand that many facialist recommend is mario badescu. they are very reasonably priced but maybe hard to find if you do not live in a larger city. i also recommend the 3 step clinique program of cleanser, toner and moisturizer. clinique is the easiest to get. many department stores carry kiehls. you can find all of this stuff at sephora.

from the drug store try oil of olay regenerist as it will even out your skin tone over time. aveeno is also great as it has soy extract that will even and brighten your skintone.

as for the darker skin, only a self tanner will do this. i strongly recommend clarins as it is the most natural and easiest to get. fake bake is a great line of self tanners. many celebrities love this line but can be hard to find.

the key to a great self tanner look is exfoliate and moisturize. do this at least three days in a row before applying the self tanner to ensure it will go on evenly and not be patchy and flaky looking.

another option is a bronzer. i recommend cargo as it gives a look of a very lovely glow. apply it to where the sun would hit your face....forehead, nose, apples of cheek and chin. i like a very light dusting with a large brush all over the face and then apply a little more on those areas. apply it lightly and then build up to more. also, make sure you up it on in natural light to make ensure you do not wear too much.
Reply:you want a brand THE BODY SHOP.
Reply:johnsons clean and clear solution very good for any pimples. maybe follow with a facial moisturiser that contains a hint of self tan, theres a few good ones out there like olay and johnsons holiday skin
Reply:clean and clear morning burst and cetaphil. clinique dramatically different facial moisterizer. those are some of my favorite facial products to use. good luck and enjoy! =] %26lt;33

High-quality face/skin care products?

I swear, I have tried every over the counter face wash on the market at least once, and not one of them works any better than the rest.

I have combination skin... in the T-zone it gets unbearably oily in the summer and very dry in the winter. I don't have *bad* acne, but I get little pimples around my nose and lips often, and on my cheek I have scars from old zits... nothing has worked to clear it up, so I resort to oil-free coverup. My skin tone is uneven, but toner negates all the anti-oil and anti-acne products.

It would be my dream to have clear, perfect skin with an even complexion and balanced oil levels... but I know that's impossible. Is there any high-quality product out there (special-order, I don't really care) that works for people with my skin type to reduce acne and even out the oil and dryness? Something that REALLY works?? I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars and get the same horrible results I've seen with these OTC products.

High-quality face/skin care products?
I have the same exact problem!! I use Clinique, and it has done wonders for my skin. They can skin type you at the counter and set you up with a custom made skin care plan. I use their Acne Cleansing foam to remove makeup, Mild facial soap for dirt and oil, Clarifying Lotion #3 (their version of toner ) Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (oil free) and on top of that I use Super Defense Moisturizur for combination to oily skin. i had never had anyone comment on my skin until I started on these products. It took about a month to get everything looking good, but it is worth the money! Clinique counters are in almost every department store, and their associates are very friendly and helpful!
Reply:Have you tried Proactiv? I have used it for about 10 years and I am very happy with it. I only buy the repairing lotion now, though...which I get for discount (but still new) on Ebay. And I only use it at night before going to sleep. Other than that I use a good toner (I use Biore, green bottle/liquid) and cotton balls, and wipe my face with it at least once a day. It helps a lot with shine (oil) control. I also use the matching Biore face scrub but just in the shower. That's really all I do and my face is clear most all of the time.
Reply:I second the Clinique answer. While I don't have acne issues, I do have a T-zone problem and Clinique is the only thing that balances my skin out. I even have my fiancee using the mens' line. He has acne issues, and is very pleased with the line too!
Reply:Have you tried Arbonne they have amazing products that I am using and selling as well. I have tried many products until my friend introduced to Arbonne and I love it. I have combination and sensitive skin. check out the website www.arbonne.ca If you are interested in the products send me an e-mail and I will be happy to help you. If you are under 30 I would recommend the Intelligence Line.
